Wilk Chip Questions
first question is - The chip just snaps right in correct? Remove the old insert the new?
2nd one is - Im plannign on doing an Auto -> manual swap sometime soon. If I install the chip and then swap it over a few weeks later, are there going to be any problems/complications at all? thanks

I put one in my 87 924S during the summer and its been great, All you gotta do is remove the old ECU and open it up, remove the old chip and install the new one. He will gove you directions on how to do eveything.
Im not sure on the second part, I dont know if the ECU contols anyting on the auto tranny

The DME has no connection to the tranny. Same DME in auto or Manual cars.

Just installed my Wilk chip yesterday & I am anything but a mechanic. You'll need to disconnect the altitude sensor , a round metal thingy in the upper right corner of the passenger foot well. Plug the wires that were attached to the altitude sensor to Wilks supplied by-pass loop wire. So far the chip feels great and the car idles better.
