Question Opinion on header insulating wrap

what are your experiences with insulating header wrap on a daily driver. Ive heard it will retain to much heat to the headers and they will crack. Remember this is a daily driver.

to make it simple what i've heard is that it works good on a stainless steel exhaust but isent realy good for the others as it makes it retain to much heat, And liek you said posible craking. I belive i also read somewheres on here that it works pretty good on the 951

I was going to do it.. but decided to save my money and spend it on other things

On a daily driver with stock exhaust it will serve no benefit. I agree with the cracking possibilities.
