dumping the bov in to the intake

I’ve seen it on a few cars where people dump their bov waste in to the intake of the turbo. Does this make any difference? Quieter bov dump? Anything at all, increase in turbo spool?

The 951 uses a recirculating bypass valve stock.

Yes, it does help keep the turbo spooled better between shifts. I would think that it would be as stock on a 952, as it is on a 951. It sounds like you are saying that yours isn't. There should be about a 1" (25mm) hole sticking straight up on the left side of the J-boot where the bypass valve, or BOV, if you like, dumps into it.

P.S. I think it would be "somewhat" quieter dumping into the intake, but it is still quite loud.

I suppose it is only the interior of the 952 that is a "mirror image" of the 951. I can't imagine the engine being a mirror image, with a left bank of cylinders, instead of a right bank.

Anyways, I 'm not sure what a pod filter is, but I have aftermarket MAF conversion (autothority), and it still has a port in the pre-compressor intake pipe for the "BOV" valve to dump into.
