I'm having trouble with my 86 porsche. It has fuel and it cranks fine but it has no spark. I checked the coil and the coil gets power but I still get no spark when I try and crank it over. I have also switched coils and used three different ones to see if the coil was bad but none of them gave a spark. I just put a chip from FR Wilk in my car, a very well know 944 chip maker and I just want to get it started and running before I have surgery and can't drive it for a while. I also checked my dme relay and replaced it but still the same thing. Could someone please help me? Its my second car and second 944. Please email at freeride4life_2010@hotmail.com or post on here
Thanks, Nick |

pull the fuse for the fuel pump.
get a spark plug that you know is good, and put the center wire of the coil on its top . ground the plug to the frame or engine with a jumper cable. have someone try to start the engine. look for a spark across the gap. if no spark, cap and rotor. go to "clarks_garage "for the entire "no spark condition" procedure.
