idle speed control valve
Was going to repalce my Idle Speed Valve under the intake manifold and I noticed that there is an arrow on the body of the ISV...which way should the arrow point.....and I am looking down at it from front of car....to the left or to the right..may have been installed backwards ..
87 944 NONTURBO...can someone go out and look at there idle speed valve and see which direction the arrow is pointing..and I would guess that if you can' see it then mine is upside down...mine currently is pointing to the right thanks and if anyone has a web page or a link to the proper installation of the ISV please post.... |

The long hose connects to the intake air boot.
The arrow on the ICV points to the short hose.... ![]() This link may help ?? Idle Control Valve Testing - Porsche 951 - www.texasblake.com GL John
