timing belt help
Im buying a timing belt kit from pelican parts. I have a 1985 early 944 na. im replacing the water pump as well, to re factory updated pump. Do I need the kit with the 32mm pump roller or 46mm??

If you are buying the updated pump I believe you will require the 46mm. The new WP will come with a block off piece and a rail (that is the update).

You can get an old style Water Pump (Brand New) and use the old style 32mm belt roller, but it is much better to up-grade to the new style water pump w/Belt Guard and use the 46mm roller with it.
