Hey guys, you probably don't remember me cuz i haven't been on in a while. Anyway, my 944 was running perfect last summer, then during the winter it kinda sat. Now there is no power going to the fuel pump. It's got a new relay and pump, but now if I try to start it, there is only less than 1 volt going to the pump. If i bypass the system the pump works but the regular system won't give it enough power. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Just a couple of ideas> Here is the Fuel related test per Clarks: Troubleshooting Fuel Supply Problems It could be a cracked ignition switch or the switch wiring--rear contacts. http://www.clarks-garage.com/pdf-manual/elect-17.pdf Ignition Switch Replacement When you turn the key, you should be able to hear the hum of the fuel pump. You said you have already replaced the DME/fuel pump relay for a new one. Did you try the jumper per Clarks? DME Relay Information and Testing Clean all grounds by the battery and the engine block. Finally, when you crank the engine, does your tach needle bounce 1/16 of an inch?? GL John
