Changed out my side mirrors. Unfortuñately the fool who owned the car before me cut the plug off for the drivers side. Ugh. Now I have to figure out what wires go where or find another plug.

Haha bud Australia is a joke, could've got it cheaper if there wasn't 6 other factors bumping up the price.

prepping it today for a new clutch, DMF, pressure plate, release bearing, starter, and another exhaust mod.

all this in prep for final tuning of the supercharger. already at over 350hp and 300lb/ft, but the clutch was slipping, so couldn't see just how much over.

currently set to be on the dyno for the final runs the day after xmas

Got my shift lever bushing in from Pelican (great service on their part; not so much for FedEx), installed it and the shifting is now SO beautifully tight!

Porsche was in the garage. I needed the garage space to detail a friend's truck, and there's a deadline of Saturday for doing that, since his in-laws are coming in from Korea. And I REALLY hate having to push the car up/down the driveway, since it's on a pretty decent incline, lol. So, yeah...spent 16.50 to ship a 3.50 piece. It did hurt a little...lol.

Attached new bushing support and clip to HVAC damper. Seems to help, the temp sensor is probably still a little screwy. Sprayed Permatex rubberized undercoating on multiple spots of the car, the jack holes and those metal supports, and a spot behind the rear left wheel where the coating was scraped off to bare metal?!

Fixed a tiny tear I put in my seat cover with the clip of my pocket knife

First big rain in a long time, totally pouring and very happy my Porsche had no issues!

Needs a thorough cleaning. My gift to myself is wash, claybar, and wax today on the 951. At least that is my plan...

I changed my oil and made a big mess It wasn't due for an oil change for another couple thousand miles, but it smelled like gasoline so I wanted to get it out before it ruined my rod bearings. I attempted to replace my O2 sensor while I was down there, but I couldn't get it to budge I gave up because I didn't want to snap the bung off and have to remove the exhaust to get it welded back on. I guess I'll wait until I get some PB blaster or something to loosen it.

I was amazed by how clean the bottom of my engine was compared to the top.

W00T!!!!! I got that mother ****er off!!!!!!!! The only down side is the threads for the oxygen sensor are destroyed I guess that ****er didn't want to go quietly

Here's what happened to the threads on the O2 sensor:

So now I guess I need to remove the exhaust to retap the hole. I tried removing the nuts that hold the exhaust to the headers, but they're rusted on there so I guess I need some PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench...

I finished assembling the instrument panel this evening and am ready to re-install tomorrow, if it doesn't snow. The small white plastic retaining clips that secure the speedo, tach, and multi-gauge to the plastic housing were all shot. I made BS retainers that may work (or not)...

Retap is a lot better than welding. Btw your tip is like black, mine was grey. Think you are REALLY rich?

I used a mirror to look inside the hole for the O2 sensor and it looks like a thread chaser might get the threads out. I was able to pick some of them out with a screw driver, so I think the bung can be saved.

And yes, I am fairly certain that my car was running insanely rich. There was smoke coming from my exhaust, the exhaust smelled like gas, my oil reaked like gasoline, my spark plugs were black, etc. If I can manage to get the exhaust off that'll give me an excuse to remove the cat and put in a nice high flow cat or resonator I'm sure my cat is clogged from running super rich.

I installed new Rennbay fuel lines on my 951. It was a lot easier than I thought it'd be.

I have to reinstall the fender liner tomorrow. Total time: maybe a couple hours.

Nice and tidy...

tucked away some wiring for my high stop light, adjusted one of my hatch pins, took out my front seats and cleaned out everything. the pax seat has been out before but not my drivers seat. 26 yrs of rubbish under that one!

tomorrow I'll put in seats from an '86 turbo and may put in a centre console from my parts car.

Nice, I found some weird stuff under my driver seat after I bought the car

It must be really hard to drive with your steering wheel on the wrong side of the car!!!
