That looks pretty good. What kind of carpet did you use and what material did you use for the shelf? I have to do mine, the whole rear area is the pits. I'm going to have to replace all the carpet. Somehow water is getting into the trunk area. I think it may be coming in around the locking pins too because I just put new ones on and they're already rusty. Ugh.

I drilled a hole in the screw that locks the shift linkage on the tranny and I lockwired it.

Harbor Freight had the lockwire and pliers so I was finally able to fix the problem of that shift linkage screw getting loose and me having to tighten it twice a year

Had to Frankenstein my distributor/ign coil wire to get home lastnight. Wires only had 100 miles of use on them before they became faulty and broke causing me to stall continuously . Of course me having to cut up the boot to rig the wire voids any warranty. Crap!

Got pissed off at my car as well. The wires for the speed and reference sensors finally decided to come apart at the plug stranding me at of all places AutoZone as I was getting a new battery for the truck. SO today I looked at the wires but with it being 20 something degrees out there I just closed the hood kicked the left front tire and went inside. I am now pondering new sensors or it may be the kick in the but I need to install the MS I have been working on for a couple years now.

Dean,

Where in MA do you reside?
Just wondering since I'm fairly new to the hobby, it would be great to find some local contacts.

Moved the poor 944 back to the garage where it belongs after finishing up a project with on my truck. Got to about 15' F today, and she still started up on the first (longish) crank. Blew the snow off only to find 1/4 inch of ice coat covering it.
Think I'll swap out my summer tires for the all seasons now

Took the new hood and nose panel to the painter, he will call during the week with the price of fixing and painting both pieces.

Diagnosed why my heater is stuck on full, its a broken clip.

There's 3 per car, i could see only two though. the top arrow is the broken one.

Also put in a new black leather shifter boot.
