Okay the reservoir is just not level. Filled to the brim. I could only add a drop or two.

Forgot the picture or it didn't load from smartphone.
The reservoir appears to be unlevel. I can tilt it slightly and the fluid will show at the max line. It is filled to the brim though.

The ATF in the power steering system gets nowhere close to the column where it enters the cabin. That most likely is brake fluid.

Hi Uvachief - I would recommend that you remove some of that excess fluid and make sure you do not fill past the MAX indicator. This will help prevent any leakage that might occur due to temperature expansion in the hot months, etc. It is always best to remain inside the manufacturers recommended filling specs. Also, bear in mind that the level will drop (albeit slowly) as your brake components wear, as more fluid is needed to take up the space as the caliper pistons move out. However, if the level drops quickly, then you do have a leak.
The 'moisture' in the footwell I wouldnt really worry about, as if its not wet it is probably some residue from an old leak that has attacked the rubber.
