Which A/c compressor is this one?
I received this compressor from a supplier on HK.
It seems to be the same body as the Nippon 10p15e that we use, but mounting points seems to be on a different position. Anyone know what model uses this compressor, of if I can use it on my 85.5 adapting the lines. Mounting points for early 944's are different than 85.5? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Any help is welcome!! It appears (if an 85.5 is the same as the later 944's and 968's) that it is missing a mounting ear on it. There should be two (one on each side of the blank off plate), one for the forward upper mount, and another for the upper rear mount.
I just replaced my 968 compressor because I broke a mounting ear off, here is a picture: Here is a detailed thread with lots of pictures: AC Compressor Replacement - Rennlist Discussion Forums HTH! |

85/1 and 85/2 are two different animals,
what you got is "almost alike", return it and buy one from the host, oe pn was 944126008 |

right compressor for an early car, but the case is 99% likely meant for a Ford of the same vintage.
