I have an '89 n/a with the 2.7l engine. I am in the last stage of replacing t-belt, balance shaft belt, accessory belts, oil cooler seal, and etc... The water pump that I took out only had one connection, to the lower radiator hose. Due to this connection the hose coming from the expansion bottle was connected to a small aftermarket hose and into the radiator just above the lower hose outlet. I got a new pump that has a spot to hook up the hose from the bottle (or so I think...) I currently have a cap on that spot. If I make that connection I will be left with a spot on the radiator (which I could place a cap on) My question is how is this supposed to be connected???

For the non turbos you have to cap off the "extra" small hole on the front pf the water pump. The rebuilt I got a few years back did have the 90 degree nipple but the inside of the nipple was blocked off.
The vent hose for the o-flow tank goes on the radiator where it came from.
