Video: Replacing engine mounts

Hi,

the video gives you a step by step tutorial how to replace the engine mounts on your 944. The hydraulic engine mounts lose their damping capacity in time. A mount is worn to the limit, when the installed height is less than 62 mm or the height of the removed and detensioned mount is less than 65 mm.

The video has a German soundtrack but English subtitles are added to YouTube. If you don't see them by default, watch the video directly at YouTube and press the subtitle button below the frame.

Enjoy it,

Jürgen

always love watching your videos! I'd also like to say that I watched your clutch video too, using the sleeves to remove the clutch fork pin is ingenious. Also, where can I find the "magic ratchet"? I want one of those!

Hi,

the rotary ratchet it in the video is from Proxxon, I found no dealer in US. But from Stanley you'll find something similar.

Greetings,

Jürgen

Any ideas for how to get a good engine support system built from Harbor Freight and hardware stores? Not wood? Or maybe wood is ok? What's that crank being used, and where do I get one?
