which AC mounting bracket for a Porkensioner

I'm wanting to put a Porkensioner on when I do the wp and tb change and I have been told that I need to know which AC mounting bracket I have. What makes the two different and which one do I need? Pics would be wonderful.

Ah are you talking about the AC compressor or the air pump??
the only differences in the Porkensioner mounting are for the air pump / air pump delete.
One mount has a bracket to fit the pump the other doesnt

It's only the '78-'79 steel AC compressor bracket that is a problem. (You can fit it with some drilling/grinding.)

If your bracket is aluminum, then it will fit.

'78-'79 steel

'80-up aluminum

Wow, from Porken himself! I just checked and it looks like I have the aluminum; put a magnet to it just to check and it did not stick. Guess I'm good to go. Thanks gentlemen.
