so, how can i tell if my car is a euro or american spec?

Vin will start with Wp0zzz, marker lights behind each wheel on the front fenders, rectangular red light to the left of the rear license plate, motor ID will be M28/11,12,21, or 22, then numbers on intake tubes and heads etc. 78 to 83 Euro is also CIS non electronic fuel injection.

Yes that is a USA 928 S from model year 1983
