winshield wiper probem

I have an 82 Euro S that the windshield wipers stayed on all the time unless I pulled the plug in the cowl. I am trying to get it ready for inspection so I was messing around with the plug and the 6 connections in it. I found that when this green wire is connected the wipers stay on and with it pulled the wipers work except for setting 1(slow) and setting 4(delay wipe). I have left the green unhooked for now but wonder what the problem is. Any suggestions? Relay? Gunar

Funny, mine was blowing fuses all the time I put the Windshield wipers on, ended being a shorted wire where the AC Guy was removing the Expansion Valve in that area. He must have been having a hard time removing it and his tool slipped and smashed the harness there causing a short.

Probably didn't help any but thought I would share my story. I can take a pic of my wiring right there and see if the PO may have crossed the wires around.

Take that picture Dano- BTW, I ordered 2 Moroso Spiral Flows today(1 for each dual out the back). I liked your sound.

Yes, the Spiral Flows do sound awesome. I'm going to try something different on the "S," but not sure what yet. I might just do a Magnaflow. I already got a sweet arse Magnaflow Tip just waiting to be welded on.

I thought about a Magnaflow 11385 but thought it might not muffle enough. Mine is way too loud now. Already had a neighbor complain and I think I'm just on 6 cylinders.

I had the bad rear resonator cut out and the pumpkin was already missing. All it has now is the front dual in/out muffler.

Here you go Gunar. I also flipped the connector so you can see both sides:
