Porsche Crest first time engine rebuild

I am getting ready to drop and rebuild the engine in my 1991 C4 for the first time. I am trying to find the best complete engine rebuild kit and place to get all the machine work done. If anyone knows the best place for all of this also a list of specialty tools that I will need would be greatly appreciated.

I know there are several good threads on engine rebuilds out there. Thought I had them saved, but cannot seem to find them. You may want to check on Rennlist as they are very active on 964's.

Nothing special needed to drop the engine. Did mine last summer.

Remember to undo all the grounds, there is one strap that many forget and it hangs up the removal
Also it would help if identify your geographic locale so others can give their recommendations for machine work
