Distributor Mods when fitting Webers on 82 ROW SC
Hi
What Distributor Mods are needed on a ROW 911 SC 1982 when fitting 40 mm Webers, Ie advance / Vac advance, Any advise would be great. Thanks John |

Probably just a good servicing, I believe the ROW had a curve like the early 78-79 US SC's. Perhaps jsut a good cleaning following Gunters thread.
If it is not operating correctly and you are not getting full advance then you may want to get it serviced in curved. Just FYI - People are spending upwards of 650 for a recurve and recondition that takes about 12$ worth of parts and about 2 hours of work.

hi i have found that the ROW Dist has a near perfect curve all in by 4k

John,
How much total advance are you getting at "all-in"? and what is your initial setting at idle? I don't have the specs in front of me but I think you should be getting 32-35 degrees total advance when it is set at 5-7 degrees at idle (950 rpms).
