Need alternative shipping options for parts...
I have some fiberglass fenders and a bumper down in Palm Beach FL and I am trying to get them to NJ.
Probably too big for FedEx, and after seeing what the trucking company did to my new fiberglass stuff from Getty, I'm reluctant to recommend that. Is there a courier service, or some other option that runs up the 95 corridor? Someone who gives a crap? I'm willing to drive a bit if I need to, VA or somewhere along 95. thanks for any ideas...

You may get lucky with the gypsies at Uship. At least you talk to them directly
I never had a problem w trucking companies. But if you don't take the time to crate properly you could end up with less than desired results |

You might want to check Greyhound. I recently shipped a set of 911 seats Denver to Pittsburg (Terminal-to-Terminal) for about a third of what UPS wanted, and while dropping them off at the Denver terminal spotted what looked like they might have been fiberglas bumpers - heavily protected in bubblewrap.

Yah, I’ve had allot of f/g parts shipped coast to coast using Greyhound over the last ten years and never had a problem. In fact I just picked up a RSR bumper from GH yesterday. As mentioned, it is important to make sure the parts are well packed. Good luck.

I got a fiberglass hood via Greyhound.
You just need to be able to meet them at the Buss station to unload. And don’t expect help past the cargo door. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok, I’ll have to reconsider greyhound.
How do I make sure I am there when they arrive at the terminal? I can see that making a big difference...

Too many Greyhound terminals are closing. The one that used to be close to me, 40 minutes away, closed. Now if I want to get something GH I have to go into downtown Chicago and hope my SUV is still there when I come back to it. And thats a 3 hour round trip for me. No thanks, LTL freight or I won’t buy something anymore.
