Fact: Home ownership among millenials and younger is becoming a pipe dream for many, as housing costs are skyrocketing

Fact: Boomers had cheap housing compared to their wages

Fact: Boomers enjoyed cheap education and 'they could work part time' to pay for their tuition

Fact: Most millenials have massive amounts of student debt and that amount is increasing every year. Americans owe over $1.56 trillion in student loan debt, spread out among about 45 million borrowers. That’s about $521 billion more than the total U.S. credit card debt.

Fact: Wages have not kept up with cost of living increases in housing/healthcare/education for over 30 years no matter which clown was in office

Fact: Student debt is not only preventing millenials from home ownership, it's preventing marriage and families. If this trend continues white people will be minorities in america; in many states in elementary schools they already are.

Fact: The 1% increased their wealth by 400% since 2009

Fact: Boomers and Gen X were much wealthier than millenials when they were all the same age due to lack of student debt

But go ahead and keep putting your head in the sand and ignoring the struggles that young people are facing today. If young people keep getting ****ed while the select few boomers hoard all the money, things will balance out eventually:

If there’s one thing I learned from the Obama Presidency, it’s that America is resilient, and can survive anything!!! As to all your facts, I hired many many young people who took class after class just to delay the payback beginning of their loans. Maybe if some of these people full of sympathy for our youth had to hire them like I did, they would lose their sympathy. AOC wants to take away your gas guzzling Porsche, so be careful who you chose to follow and defend. Off to the classifieds.

I’m not old and I’m no conservative but AOC is off her nut. I get the complaints of the youth. I agree with a lot of them. But dammit, she is going to kill the green new deal with her zealot behavior. We aren’t going to guarantee an income to anyone. She’s lunatic fringe.

Yes she is young with some far out ideas...but that is what they are ideas and opinions that with time will change. Too much emphasis and time has been allotted to her thoughts. Yet she doesn’t have any real power. People need to focus on those who can make a real significant change in current policies. I don’t agree with everything she has to say but I understand the frustration.
