He'll spin it as a positive, touting either how genetically superior he is or how harmless it is. Either way, he'll make it out to be good for himself.

Headed to Walter Reid. That doesn’t sound fake to me.

so ive done 2 things i never do in the last 18 hours. i visited parf last night and today again commenting on a thread!! then the local fox affiliate was carrying the fox news broadcast of him leaving the white house in the chopper and i watched that for about 20 minutes. what a 24 hours im having trying all kinds of new things....!!!
i was cracking up over the fox broadcast where the anchors were spewing "no matter how you feel about the president it's time for the country to come together in this difficult time". i threw up in my mouth a little and then laughed out loud, laughed hard. i mean really hard. fox just expects non koolaid drinkers to just turn on a dime and feel the least bit of sympathy for such a mean, ugly, self centered man? ha! that's freakin rich.... by gones are surely not going to be by gones with this guy in my opinion.. |

I'm even thinking many on the fence would feel sorry for him for getting it himself and would end up voting for him. What other choice is there? Biden isn't much of a choice for many on the fence is he? Who's going to be calling the shots, the VP? People always say and have for decades: Never bet against the American economy. I'm my opinion, this is somewhat similar, speaking from an objective, never taken a side on the aisle so clearly or really at all. |
I can always tell who is drinking the koolaid when they start treating Biden as incompetent and infirm. He’s neither.
The polls actually weren’t wrong in 2016. She was predicted to win by 2.5% nationally. That’s exactly what she did in the general. She lost because trump totally had better local internal polling and was able to target a couple key states and counties and barely win. They even had a secret campaign to discourage black people from voting at all. Look at the polls this time. Places she had a lead within the margin of error , Biden has 6-9% leads. That’s triple her lead. And he’s not neglecting WI, MN, MI, PA and OH like she did. There’s a dead heat in Ohio?!?! And that’s not even talking places like NC, FL, or AZ where Biden might get a victory. And there’s no way black folk are staying home this time. BLM and killer cops have guaranteed that. Nobody on the fence feels sorry for Trump. He has mishandled covid from day one. He didn’t wear the mask and got it. They are hoping it wakes him up to bring serious about it, not some pity vote. Who feels sorry for the rich guy who takes a helicopter to the hospital? Not some janitor or chef who is currently out if work because we are still shut down due to this thing. |

I think you have a good point, and to be honest I'm way out of touch on things Stateside and culturally too. I did say though before, the USA was a sitting duck for Covid, not unlike many countries, the UK for example where it is rampant. I can't even get my motor overhauled there in Cambridge due to Covid lockdown and nothing seems to be changing for the better anytime soon. My motor should have been done and here already in late summer. They haven't even started on it. That said, how many countries are in dire straights besides the US? Many I believe. I'm not sure everyone can blame the leaders of those countries, not that they won't. I'm just thinking that not all Americans will be blaming Trump for this, but who knows? Certainly they will want to blame someone. Everybody needs a scapegoat when times are tough. Question is, who is it gonna be? The media? The right or the left politicians? China is a possible scapegoat. Anyway, they got Trump with the Kung Flu as he put it. They are sure to be laughing as we speak. |
Over 2/3 of Americans say their administration has handled it poorly. We are less than 5% of the world’s population yet 1/5 the cases. And major outbreaks continue in places like the Dakotas and where they’ve opened schools with little precaution. Sorry. You can’t comoare us to the world. Not even the same ballpark here.
23 cases and counting from Trump’s posse, including 3 senators, Chris Christie, Kelly Anne Kuntway and numerous others. |

I did not and do not think that his sickness is "fake", but I can understand why so many people flirt with the idea since he lies about absolutely everything and the fish rots from the head so it has spent four years trickling down from him.

I thought I was a smart guy but I lately can not keep up with the posts on Pelican PMD....
