To paint or not to paint?

Guys,
I am considering selling my ‘87 Targa and would like your advice as to whether I should repaint the hood and front bumper. The PO buffed through the paint at the crease on the hood and the front bumper just has a some rock chips that have been touched up. The car is in excellent condition with 129k.
Just trying to figure out if it increases value or not

Otherwise all original? What is the color? I would sell as-is let that decision be theirs. May decrease the value depending on the quality of work that you have done and everyone will cringe when you say you paint this or that as 99% of the time it’s done poorly even if you had it done properly

Color is black with champagne interior. Seat were just re-dyed with leatherique, otherwise all original. All the modifications are bolt on and I have all of the original parts. I will leave as-is I think.
Thanks for the feedback

Being a single stage black that hard edge on the hood can be touched up by a pro and will be barely detectable. I would definitely not paint it.

Black and Champagne with Gold BBS wheels. Very nice! Who didn't want this car in H.S.?
Period correct car and I think you will easily find a buyer.

Yep. I don’t buy black cars because of the paint maintenance but this car is a looker.

original paint is worth so much more then even a flawless new bare metal paint job. nothing proves an accident / rust free history better!

Those BBS are awesome. 8” rear won’t fit my narrow body 911. Otherwise, I’d be wanting them too.

Thanks for the compliments on the wheels, but they will stay with the car. If I sell, I would include both sets.
