Blinger grabbed them up - because you could barely give one away at that point in time ...... the "Ugly Duckling" era.
Creature, you have a point. Hate to admit it but I sold my 964 to Singer in 2014. A perfectly timed deal

If not for the few Targa I think $80,000 is too much. Car Planet had a good one for sale.
With the new high falutin valuation, will someone please get rid of the rubberbanded dizzy ?

i sold mine too - '91 C2 - don't miss it. i did wait for values to get a bit stupid ....
i actually prefer my underpowered SC, and it's analog simplicity. love the 915 too.
YMMV.

My SC is a great car but too slow for aggressive driving compared to the 964. The improved suspension over torsion bar is night and day

I had a 964 and 993. Never really enjoyed driving either. Then I got an SC, and now look forward to every drive. The 964 and 993 are just too modern feeling. The true 911 “feel” ended after the 3.2. If I wanted modern, I’d much rather have a 997.
