Hoping to get some feedback on what the potential $ impacts to re-sale might be for the following items:
- Non-original seats - Engine replaced under warranty - aftermarket suspension - aftermarket wheels Any help would be appreciated. |

Not enough details to say. Post pictures and mileage. And brand names/spec of the parts that have been replaced.

These cars are hot right now, but everything you lists pings value.
Until we get more details, I've got nothing of value to add.

My two cents, engine replaced not a big deal if it's been taken care of properly and not abused. Stock replacement engine much better than original engine running "Fat Tony 900 hp E85 tune".
Seats probably a massive ding, particularly assuming they're nosebleed or tacky versions, as they also make people go "dear Lord, what else can that guy have done to that poor car". Suspension, moderate to average sized ding. Most people like the 996tt as a grand tourer, and don't care for hardcore extreme coilover setups. The more hardcore, the bigger the ding. Wheels can vary a lot. 18" HREs probably zero ding. Oversized tacky designs, definitely a ding for same reasons as the seats. |

Are original parts still available and included in a sale?
I agree with Rick- if seats are of tacky variety - big ding. Wheals and suspension could be +/- depending on brand and overall condition of car |

So I ended up buying a 2002 911 Turbo and drove it home to WA with my younger son on a 2-day road trip. Great experience and the car performed flawlessly. It has TechArt 19" wheels from the previous-to-previous owner. Seats and suspension are original, I was contemplating a potential change in the future, but will likely scrap that plan based on forum comments. Still wondering if I should track down some 18" Turbo Twist wheels or keep the aftermarket ones. I plan to keep the car for a few years, so there's probably no urgency there.

Personal preference, a lot of people run 19" setups, but imho the 18" size rims fit the proportions of the 996 body much better than 19". |

Nice. I wouldn’t give replacing the wheels a second thought. Drive it and enjoy.

Nice car!
Agree with Matt—Drive it and then figure out over time what you wanna do to it. |

i had an 03 that was as delivered when I bought with like 40k miles in 2015. did not do a bunch to it in the 10 months I owned it, but the single best thing i did was add the rennline shifter bushings. pretty easy project cause you don't have to get into all the shifter cables, and it still tightens up the shifter quality. they have "race" & "sport" versions of them, i did the sport.

I have a stick 01 996TT in orient red metallic and after doing an engine out service at 125K miles to pin the water tubes and other minor stuff, the car is bulletproof and shifts well compared to our older cars.
Only rims I would change to are Ruff, but even those are crazy prices and the stock rims are nice enough… |

Nice! X50 package or did someone just change the exhaust tips? Are they sport seats?

No X50 kit, Standard Seats. The original window sticker has "Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes" as an exclusive option, not sure if that explains the tips or if they were changed by a previous owner.
