Duplicate Master keys
Just purchased a 84 Carrera, came with just one mater key. Any idea where I can get duplicate keys made in Illinois?

You can go to any competent locksmith to get a key cut.

Based on my experience, you'll have to get key blanks from Pelican (or a Porsche dealership - uggh) but yes, any locksmith can cut it. I had one done recently (my 72 has a later SC/Carrera ignition switch) with a blank I bought from Pelican. I went to an actual locksmith shop, not the Home Depot key cutter. He said he couldn't guarantee it would work, and that he wouldn't be responsible for the cost of the key blank, no problem. He cut it, I tried it in the ignition, it wouldn't turn, so I took it back inside, he ground it a bit more, came out with me to check it, and it worked fine. I think he charged me $5.
