Value of single 4.5 x 15" Fuchs
Hi guys,
I bought a few odd Fuchs yesterday, one of them the rare 4.5 x 15" 67S wheel. I am not sure about the condition yet, but it looks like it need some work. It looks to be 1/4" out of round. Does anyone have an idea about the value? Are these easy to sell as a single? Thanks Johan

Those are fairly rare rims and sell in sets of 4 for $3K and up in good condition. There is a market for single wheels, which might be used to replace a damaged wheel or a missing spare in the trunk, but the "out of round" condition you mention would be a deal-killer for many folks. They are not easy to repair, depending on where/how it is bent. In good condition, it might be worth around $700. Get a repair estimate on straightening it from a reputable shop and you will know where you stand on its value.

There are those who say that no "reputable shop" will straighten a Fuchs. I know them's fighting words to some, but at least one wheel restorer takes that position.
