Help me value my 73 911S

How about a 1973 911S Coupe with 6 cylinder/5 speed. Is all original with a professionally added ground effects package. Red with Black interior, 125k miles. Very well kept, no rust stored for years but driven a few miles each summer. This is a great car. What's it worth?

Sorry guys it is not a 911S it is a Flat nose or some call it a slant nose. I would sell it for $14500.

73 s

Tough to value, real 73 911 S's with the original MFI are approaching the "priceless zone". will have to pass on guessing values on your car.

The elephant in the room here is that this car is so heavily modified from the original it would be almost impossible to price it in my opinion. If it was an all original 73S one could at least say its worth between this number and that number based upon recent sales of similar cars. This car like a lot of heavily modified cars is very unique and is in one of those situations (again, in my opinion) where the car is worth what someone is willing to purchase it for at that particular time and is probably a good candidate for ebay or other auction venue where you will draw a more diverse consumer and hopefully a quick sale. You probably have an idea of what you want for the car so list that as your reserve and see what happens.
Also, would help to know current drive train, and other mechanical modifications; body panels are metal vs fiberglass, etc. and a list of interior modifications?
Good luck!

VIN indicates that this is a MY74 (production date may have been 73, but it isn't a 73S)

I think your suggested asking price is about $5000 more than you're likely to get.

However, As Robert says, this is an ideal car for eBay, as the slant nose style is less popular than it used to be and you'll need to find a very special buyer. You may find one who will pay your price. As with any auction, you will need two determined buyers in order to get the maximum.
