What an $8k Turbo looks like

Just in case you thought the salvage pools are a source of bargains. Up to $8k 5 hours before the auctions starts.

Ok, I'd need at least a week.
Then I would budget for some home made Celette adaptors, 1 quart of quality filler (no cheap junk), a Rupes buffer and some decent 3M compound and I think I would be in for a tidy flip. Thoughts?

Seems the insurance company thinks $8k is too little and they are rerunning it this week.

But if the engine and trans are fresh along with the fuchs and turbo brakes you more than make your $8500 . The stainless exhaust says upgrade to me too.

I think the intercooler is missing because of the crash damage You can see the vertical duct on the left side which I assume was where it was. I am no expert on the 930 though.

If this wreck sells for more than that I am going to keep a close eye on my car from now on. Someone might be buying a clean set of numbers to be used later on some poor unsuspecting 930 owners car.

Other than the driver,s head out the side window I am impressed at how intact the passenger compartment still is. No really deep intrusions , so the body crumpled as designed. My son rolled a small Ranger pick up into a relativly soft cornfield and the roof came down at the front almost level with the dash.
