What kind of tail/spolier is this, and potential value?

Hi there,

I am looking at a car (in fact it is most likely now mine). One thing I don't know about it is what sort of spoiler we're looking at here.

Not really to my taste, so it's going to be one of the first things to go.

But... is it a gold mine?

’84 to '89 Carerra tail, value $500 to $800 with deck lid depending on condition.

I sold mine for $600 plus shipping without the deck lid. Sold in one day here on Pelican. Should not be a problem...Paid $350 to have the deck lid holes welded shut and the lid repainted at the best body shop around.

Thanks, guys! I'll post it on the classifieds sooner or later. Looks like it'll be a pita to box up and send.

Luckily the car has spent most of it's life indoors, so the rubber part (which is NLA, correct?) is in excellent condition.
