So far, Mexico Blue is getting the most votes. It will be at least 2 more weeks before it's ready for paint, so feel free to continue posting. Thanks!!!

Similar question

I am building a 1994 RS 3.8 clone

I was under the impression acid and arrow blue are the same color just like India and guards red. Isn't Mexico and Riviera blue also the same.

I was considering a more period correct color like Maratime blue. Does anyone have a comparison of Acid, Arrow and Maratime?

Although I have to admit that Arrow blue is a stunning color

Late entry, but since blue is widely discussed..."Gulf" blue w/red. But, I think care needs to be exercised due to a difference in "Gulf" oil Company's racing "Gulf Blue" (what you see on the car pictured) and this not being a "Porsche" color. I believe, but could be wrong, that there was an early Porsche "Gulf Blue" but it was different from what you see pictured here. Good luck with the rest of your project, enjoy!

I sold an Arrow Blue 930 with blue interior while I was a sales manger at Truspeed back in the hey day. That would be my choice. it was t eh only 930 ever painted in Arrow. It was amazing.

Thanks for all the input and pics. The shop that's going to paint the car is behind schedule (shocking, right?). So I have a little more time to decide on a color. I've narrowed it down to these: Arrow Blue, Mexico Blue, Viper Green, Tangerine. Please send in your votes.

Arrow blue, for sure. Tangerine is nice, but still a second to any blue. Viper green is at the very bottom of my personal list.

Love this car...and can only assume that the color is not factory (anyone know what it is?)

Please let me know so I can commence cutting up my numbers matching, rust-free '71 coupe.

BTW...I vote for Tangerine/Blut Orange.

Have you considered Albert Blue or Sunoco Blue.
I like Aubergine too.
If you're daring Rasberry or Framboise as the Factory called a similar color.
I've seen a 73S in that color and it was lovely.

That is nice. Are you using a single or two stage paint?

I decided on maritime which is more purple. They painted the tub in a Toyota color to show surface irregularities seems to be closer to your arrow but more brash. The swatch on the stick is maritime although I am starting to have second thoughts I really like the arrow. Too late now they are painting it maritime today.
