price check on Fuchs

I am moving to 17" Euros. Not really interested in storing my 16's.
Prices seem all over the map. They are flawless 7 & 9's with no curb rash or faded factory paint.
Thank you in advance.

They are worth a lot.

For regular 911 offset, the whole set is probably worth somewhere in the $2500 - $3000 range. The problem is tires. the selection of 16" tires for the 16x9 wheels is quite small, at least for road-legal tires. This limits the value a bit, unfortunately. It used to be that 16x9s would fetch $2500 all day long. I don't think they do now, even the nice ones. If you do a search on the parts marketplace, you can get a sort of historical sample. 16x7s are pretty common. It's the 9s that are rare.

This is true but I just ordered & received a set of Bridgestone RE11's in 205/55/16 & 245/45/16 from tires-easy.com for my 7 & 9's & they had quite a few matching sets in stock.

I also spoke to a contact at Bridgestone & they are doing another run for the 7 & 9 x 16's in November.

This is good news.

I am hoping that they continue to make these things, and continue to make a profit. Of course, if they decide to stop making them, the value of Fuchs wheels in 16x8 and 16x9 will drop pretty low.

Right now, I could probably sell my 16x9 and 16x8 (951) set with newish tires all around for about $3500. Which would get me a full set of 17" Euromeisters, plus tires, and still have money left over.

For what it's worth I sold mine a few months ago for 1600

Had them on site for a while at 1900 with a bunch of kickers...

Wanted to sell locally and dropped to 1600 and they went quick to a new 930 owner

FWIW, how hard is it, really...to store them?

They're increasing value big time. If you don't care, make someone very happy. If you want to double what they're worth today in 5 years, or have the option of originality...keep them.

At the Lime Rock Historics: I had a guy whip out $1900 cash in hopes to score my '78 stamped 6/7/x16 set for his original '78sc targa. He said "I hope this is enough?" I offered him a cigar and respectfully declined.

People have been talking about the lack of tire choices for a few years now, and it really hasn't brought the prices down on 16x9s much, if any.

What is real world price today on a pair of 9x16? Classified section has been tough for research since the couple most recent sales have had the prices deleted after the sale.

I'd like a pair, but want be realistic.

How realistic? Realistic @ $2500 for the pair, or realistic @ $1500 for the pair?

There is a pair on there now at $2500 that have been refinished, but a different finish than what I have on my 7" wheels, so they are a no go. Is $1500 reasonable for a decent driver quality pair, black centers, no cracks or curb damage, original anodized lips? I would probably pay that much.

I would never let my 16x9s go for $1500 for the pair.

I'm just curious what they really go for, lots of ads but no final sale information.

I was going to buy a pair of 16x9" euromeisters(still might). But have almost been shunned by my wife, dad and in-laws for even considering replicas

Anytime I want to get an idea on the going rate of used/vintage car and motorcycle parts, the first thing I check is eBay "sold listings". Here is a quick search I did for "16x9 Fuchs" -

FYI I believe you can still buy the 16x9's from Porsche last time I checked which was about a year ago... with my super homie-hookup discount I think they were right at $1050 each.
