67 s
Through a friend of a friend of a friend (i.e. slim to none chance), I might have the opportunity to purchase a long-neglected '67 S, and would be interested in thoughts on the value of the car.
The car has been in (dry) storage for nearly 15 years. Everything appears to be there (numbers matching engine is out of the car and currently in various states of disassembly) but will require significant work to get it mechanically sorted and driving. In my brief inspection, the car appears solid, with some surface rust on the floors and in the boot. Though I hesitate to call it a basket case, the car will need a tremendous amount of work, but is original with no modifications or body alterations. My hopes would be to get it back on the road and enjoy the originality of the car and its pantinated aesthetics. Not remotely interested in flipping it, but don't want to overpay should it become more than I can chew. Sorry for the scarce information, but that's all I know at this time. Hoping for a closer (and longer) look fairly soon the next time I'm in the area. Thanks. Last edited by Sarc; 05-03-2015 at 02:09 PM.. |

We sold two 67S's in the last few months.
One was a matching numbers project but rough, it was $75,000. Second was a decent car from NorCal but was missing the engine and interior it was $50,000. Hope this helps, email me if you need more detailed info. adam@unobtanium-inc DOT COM ---Adam
