Ok thanks for the infos guys ! Based on those pics, OEM parts need to be purchase are seats and fr and rr bumper guards ?

Brisboats, yours came with those black bumper guards ? I'm all confused now lol

The bumper guards are correct. Sometime in the very early '73 production they switched from painted black metal guards to solid rubber to pacify U.S. bumper standards until the '74 model year. Solid rubber guards are considered correct for all '73's. It's hard to tell but if the dash doesn't have a removable speaker, just the perforated holes, it's a replacement dash. Color of the car looks like guards red which was not a 1973 color. Try to find out the original color. Could possibly be Bahia Red but looks awfully light for Bahia. Bahia was an original '73 color. (I have an original Bahia red Karmann Ghia). Rear seats have been reupholstered to an unoriginal state with the horizontal lines. Front seats are of course to a later car.
Given how thoroughly they painted this car, returning the car to it's original color, if you chose to do so, would be a large task. Holes in the front hood for the latch and holes in the decklid for the additional emblem should be inspected closely to determine how much work to return to original.
A few of the items that are hard and expensive to come by that were found on a '73:
The seat belt receivers, one year only, different than '72.
Working horns, red banjos for cars produced up through mid-December of '72, red trumpets after that. Those will cost $600 to $700 if you can find them.
Interior was black leatherette. Unique to '72 and '73 cars.
Front seats were unique to '72/'73 cars.
Gas evap tank mounted inside left front fender unique to '72/'73 and maybe '74.
Strap to hold down that tank is virtually impossible to find.
Many if not most of the parts on a '73 were unique to 1 to 3 years of production. Car should be looked over to see if it has these parts, if it does, value is more of course.
Based on the S trim, the car was equipped with the appearance group which was a popular option of the time. Highly unlikely to have aluminum calipers, but should have front and rear sway bars, leather covered steering wheel, S gauges.
MFI is expensive to rebuild but carbs will work if you're ok with that.
Check the engine number, if it doesn't start with 613 it is not the original engine.

My best guess on value depending on a number of variables that need to be confirmed is 25k to 30K. I wouldn't go over 25K myself just because of the large amount of work needed.
But 30K is probably fair but is really only a guess without more info on the car.

Yes, mine has the solid rubber guards. Sorry for any confusion
If you do buy it let me know I had a 72 T and still have seats and assorted bits.
I am with gearby on the dash based on the windshield moulding I bet it is a replacement.
My car has the S package with aluminum calipers didn't have a S spoiler though but also kept the steel one from my 72.

Hi guys !

Just an update. Finally got the car for 19.5k$. It even came with another 2.4 engine (not complete). Original front seats are also included but need restoration. As per the COA, engine and tranny are matching #. Original color was gold metallic/88w. So I will have the resprayed car back to its original color. The only parts missing are int door panels and carpets. Where can I find out infos on original bumpers (how they looked like) and options of my car ?

The door pockets are very expensive, as well as original dash. Bumpers might be original, depends on when it came off the line. I believe starting in January '73 they started the big rubber bumpers, reinforced doors. Do you have pictures of the front VIN plate, a pillar Vin plate, and stamped VIN by the smugglers box? Make sure all match and look original. Curious if it is original MFI or CIS, VIN would tell.
You seem to have gotten it for a great price. The MFI setup is worth a lot of money. It also costs a lot to refurbish.

You got a very good deal. Coincidentally, it's the same color history as the one on Bring a Trailer, which was also gold, repainted red... The dash is around $1500, the door pockets, armrests and cards around $3500 and correct carpet is probably $1600 installed. Some money will be absorbed, but it is likely you'll end up well within market value even if you pay someone else to get it operational for you. Congrats.
