Value of a 69-73 911 tool kit
I recently acquired a older 1969-1973 Porsche tool kit.
It is complete and all of the tools are original. It even has the original fuse pack. The only items I see in other kits while browsing that this kit does not have is the tire pressure gauge and towel. The slotted screw driver has a chip on the tip but overall the other tools are in good shape. It is a basket weave style bag which from a bit of research I've done is 70-73 I really want this to go to a good home or someone who truly needs it or will use it but I want to have a better understanding of what kind of price to ask for the tool kit. I do not want to see it get resold for a profit but I also don't want to price gouge on the item. |

The 69-73 toolkits didn't include a towel or pressure gauge, so it sounds like yours is complete.
As for value, it's all about the condition. A good range would be between $1,000 for a nice kit to $2,000 for a mint kit. Good luck. Quote:

Thank you very much for the quick reply and for the helpful information. I'm happy to hear that it's a complete kit as well. I also recieved your private message and I will definitely send you some pictures tomorrow to help me determine a good asking price for the kit. Also if you know anyone who may be interested in the kit I would really feel good knowing it went to someone who needs it.

It's next to impossible to find a complete kit in good shape for $1,000. 1300 - 1400 is probably your bottom line.

I appreciate your input. Overall I would say the kit is in pretty good shape. The price I have in mind I feel is fair. I have done a lot of research and I'm not looking to sit on the toolkit and get absolute top dollar but at the same time I'm not going to get lowballed.
