$30k-$45k.
Engine rebuild docs? Numbers matching? Records to verify mileage? Rust free underside? Original paint? Original interior? Sport seats? Bright trim? All original body panels? Yes to all of these questions = $45k+ No to all of these questions = $30k or less Pictures will help.

Yeah Nick is right, driver-level cars' market's softened a tad. Haven't seen many middie price points lately, but driver SC targas are listed in high 20s these days. $30k sounds right on account of five-digit mileage, maybe a bit more if the engine was gone through and it's a nice color.
There was a member here who was struggling to find interest for his very good looking middie at what seemed like a very fair price. Can't be bothered to dig up the thread.

Thanks guys. It is a neighbors Targa, numbers matching, some paint touched up due to stone chips etc, original panels, nice rust free example, engine has not be gone through and yes he has quite a bit of documentation with the car. California car and then to the East Coast.....adult owned its entire life.

$45k might seem high but look at my checklist. How many 40+ year old 911s can check yes on every line item? Probably 1%. That top tier 1% is the $45k+ mid-year. Likely that is not this car, with pics and more info....who knows?

Fair enough. Condition 2 could go 45k I guess even in this market. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

We have been kicking around the 30k figure to sell it at which we think is fair and may leave some upside for someone. Stay tuned for pics.
Thanks! |
