Yup, mine also and I would guess a lot of other people. So I doubt "$100,000" or anything near that was what the rusted 911 sold for and it was more about time and being released from the project they really do not have the time for. By selling it, even if it was for only $5,000 that would release some one to mentally let go and buy the 993 they wanted.

Well said. I foolishly assumed the seller of the rusting hulk was able to cover the cost of the GT4 with the sale. You make an excellent point. Simply moving that car probably gave him the wherewithal to go ahead and buy what he wanted.

Space is also a big issue with me. I have cars all over the place and its frustrating.

My 2c.
How are they concerns? What concerns? What did I miss? They seem more like comments and judgments to me.
I couldn't care less how many rusted remnants of cars Adam sells. I really don't understand why his marketplace is such an annoyance to some. I'm more surprised that he actually finds buyers for most of his cars.

I was going to comment the same on your $100k comment. Maybe he got a $10 or $20k down payment on the GT4. Sometimes that’s just the bump you need to buy something, not the whole cash price.

My root issues are time and space. Anyone want a 58 Porsche tractor? It’s a great idea, but I have no time to sort it. And no space for it. Might be selling one of my 3 914s for similar reasons.

That $73K bondo king Esposito thread is right down there as well.

How many were victimized as a result of the business associates shilling here ?

Rubbish. Esposito's national reputation was built on R Gruppe builds, popularity among Early S members, an adjacency to TLG, and numerous Excellence articles showcasing his work. No fake user set up just to talk him up to make more money for him. Your claim has zero merit or basis in fact. Your BS meter rating rivals Donald Trump's.

Thanks. I had to recheck my post a couple times when he said calm down.
I couldn't figure out how I came across as upset.

Now that is the lowest of low blows, MountainMan!!! I don't believe that DT has ever made a statement that even had a shred to truth to it.

Well, in this case it wasn’t even a project yet

And the best part was that not only did he not have to subject himself to tire kickers, he didn’t expose the rest of his collection, one of which might be in million dollar territory

We are talking some really low serial number cars here some with special provenance
