You're absolutely correct however I come from a perspective that service is a big part of selling. I think the service is lost on Pelican in a lot of cases as most aren't looking to do multiple or many transactions so they like you don't give a crap about the buyers experience. Whether I'll never see someone again or not I try to make them feel "taken care of" and that I appreciate their business.

The point is, and I have had it happen to me, if you boost the ad, and say you will take it, some will offer the seller more than the asking price, and not all sellers are like me and willing to honor a deal.
