that black duck 76 gives me wood... great year for a 930. luv the 3.3 binders, ac and sr delete. that car is probably 500lbs lighter than my 86 which is sloppy fat tank on stock tb's and bars. the centerlocks would be a good excuse for 934 flares

We have another high dollar Flyin-Hawn backdate on BAT. This one is the dreaded Guards Red.
The sale prices of his cars is fascinating.

For paying those kind of big bucks the wheel fitment does not look good to me at all

It could be so much better...

That's a "period correct" gumball look. I wouldn't expect it would appeal to a hella flush stanced kid...

The orange and blue cars pulled it off better.

Something about this red one just looks off..

Maybe it's because they are 15s.

Yea that's part of it but the 15's on the other two cars look little better.

I think the extra rear wheel gap on red one stands out more compared to the nice fitment of the orange, and blue car.

pretty sure he's used the same wheels and tires on each car, no?

TB15's and 15 x 9 & 11 RSR braids...

The only thing he could improve is use Fiske wheels with the soft lip. The hard lip of the Braid wheels stands out and is not as clean looking.
But he would need to order the wheels before he started the project to get them by completion, and spend 50% more.

I don't know. The orange car was an M491 like this one. The blue car might have had a different fender welded on it, but the orange would should be identical fitment.

That's right I forgot the lead times on some of the parts. Hopefully the guys that buy these cars enjoy them and order a set of extra wheels or two.

I like switching up the look of a car with multiple sets of wheels even though the classic look always work.

Car looks great without the wing. Not nearly as expensive of a build compared to his recent Blue & Orange examples. Should bring solid money still. Flying Hawaiian has built himself a nice little business.

Tuned back in to see the results and noticed something that I don't like.
You need to loose the front condenser and guard on a long hood conversion!

BAT followers are BAT ***** Crazy. $157,000.00

Some of my favorite comments.

Now the big question is will it meet reserve.

175-200k will be needed

That’s a deal, for one of his builds considering rsr project cars are 199k and not built on a m491 platform

good lord. for a car with a stockish 3.2 and straightforward bits, that's a lot of bread.

derrick, i totally agree on the unsightly condenser, for that sort of scratch (and weight savings) he could've put in an electrocooler.

the BaT effect in full effect...
