Your car is very nice in Orange, that’s its biggest selling factor.
Top looks like needing work.
I would say about $39k starting but most likely not get that price.

I had 3 SC Targa recently, 79 Black/Black Sold for $32,000
79 Black/Tan 81,000 Miles needed top end Sold for $21,000
79 Blue/Black Sold for $31,100 Sport Seats

So yes mine were priced to sell, but most Targa SC have trouble reaching $35,000
Coupes are a completely different ball game

Again, thanks for the input guys. I'm hoping that the car will appeal to either a '70s color afficionado or a Gator/Longhorn/Tiger/Bronco/etc fan. It was an easy sell to my wife when I found it; I showed her a picture on my laptop and she said very calmly, "You need to buy that car."

I know mileage isn't everything but that car had 49k compared to 137k on OPs. It also was pretty original. As you know people love to pay a premium for lower mileage original examples.

I agree, but it's still good to see such a strong result for a "normal" color. I am very glad that over the years of ownership I didn't stray far from originality (and I saved most of the parts!)
