Craigslist 1964 356 Ad

No affiliation but noticed this Porsche 1964 356 cab "barn find".

What do you guys think of the price? Just wondering, seems high to me. Not that I could ever afford it anyway.

Looks like a 75k car, in this condition. If there is a lot of rust, then even lower. A perfect 356c cab is less than 150k turnkey, and resto shops are packed and expensive these days.

Its hard finding any 356 cab for less than $100k these days. That said I don't think I could spend that kind of money on a project.

I think the car is cool. Maybe not $90K cool, but cool nonetheless. I'd like to see many more pix, especially of the rust areas.

I could see driving it as is if it's structurally sound.

Bill is right. You can find a nice car for $150K. I've looked at several as of late.

Adam would know what this thing is really worth in real time.

I think this is a very cool car just so far out of reach.

This car has one thing most 50 year old cars don't, and that's real provenance. Knowing the full history of a car is great and adds value. With that being said if it was an SC it would easily bring six digits, but being a C the value is probably where it has landed on ebay twice, about $75,000-80,000.

I hope whoever gets it doesn't restore it. It looks cool just the way it is.
Get it running, go through the brakes and drive it.
