AFAIK R12 has been outlawed and is NLA. I replaced all hoses a few years ago and added a new evaporator for good measure. The AC has been perfect since.

Pretty sure I ordered it from my local Pcar dealer last time I needed them. I haven't checked Pelican but wouldn't be surprised to find it can be ordered from here, too.

In my case the wires to the controller had broken due to being twisted for a long time. However, it could also be due to the microswitches being out of alignment.
