911SC exhaust

Exhaust is obnoxiously loud at high RPMs. I took it to an exhaust specialist,
not a Porsche guy. He showed me where air was blowing out of the heat exchanger seams. Leaking headers or something...

79SC 3.0 I've owned this car for twenty two years. Always garaged. Never driven in winter.

Valve adjustment frustration. Is there a trick?

Adjusting valves using the backside method I find it very hard to tighten the set nut without turning the adjustment screw. There is limited space and it is difficult to get both hand to where I need...

Don't use the Sports Car Garage on 13th. I let them adjust my valves and install new plugs. Spark plug gaps were all over the board and valves gaps had to be reset by me.

Heat exchanger question.

When we talk about large and small flanged heat exchangers....are we talking about the headers and where they bolt onto the heads? ..Or are we talking about the flanges that attach to the heater...

Brake rotors

When I apply the brakes I get front wheel shutter. I assume it's a warped rotor.
Do I need a new one, or could turning the rotors cure the problem.

I had the same problem after replacing the...

I had the same problem after replacing the passenger door panel. It was a matter getting the window switch connectors wrong. If I remember correctly I had the two "reds" reversed.
