Eli!! $125 shipped?!?! Are they OEM?!?! Do they throw off any error mesages on the OBC? ANy fogging!? Holy cow!! Thats one heck of a deal if its a clean fit and doesnt cause any problems!!

The deal with car covers - ive read that unless your car is SPOTLESS clean, the car cover will scratch up your paint because it rubs against the dirt underneath on your car. Thats just what I've read, i dont know it for sure. Just put on nice thick coats of wax and you should be ok with the sap.....if not, just bust out some clay!

No the lights are $125.00 period, shipping and any taxes or duty/ custom fees (for those over seas) will still be there. And no these are no OE, OE should be what you have with that amber color. I've had these lights on my car and the fitment is perfect as you can see in the picture I posted.

You're 100% correct on the car covers, unless you plan on keeping it totally clean then don't cover it. The best thing I can recommend is using a duster before covering the car, visit the link below to see the ones we offer.

I have heard that using the car dusters can actually scratch the car.

Personally I just rinse the car off very well and then dry it, this seems to be the best way for a quick clean of my car, it works really well if your car is well waxed.

I guess if you have time to wash your car everyday then why cover it to begin with? For drivers with a busy life-style that don't have time to wash everyday then the 2-3 minutes it takes to dust and cover the car is a sure fire idea.

I know of people who swear by the duster and those who are against it. I personally think it's just a matter of prefernce. After all a duster isnt going to do you much good if the car is really dirty, at that point, you'll need to wash it.

What I belive WILL scratch the surface is a chamois. I use a water blade to get the water off my car. But then again, thats merely my opinion.

I don't do a complete wash all I do is rinse it and dry it, it only takes me about 10 minutes.

Jared's got a great point on the California Water Blade, that little contraption just rocks! When I first saw them, I thought "$20 for a squeegee, what a rip off". However, if ya just wanna do a quick rinse & go, it's the fastest method you could find. Ya still gotta do a minor towel dry, but that sucker gets like 99% of the water off with no risk of scratching. I fully endorse it.

Super, I thought the same thing when i first saw it, but it's true, these things make washing the car just that much faster. Plus there's no worry about scratching the paint as you would with a chamois.

Of course there is one other thing that you're all missing is the recommendations from the experts. Cold water and no more. . . . not that I would do it but for those fanatics that keep their cars in car capsules it's OK.

I meant are they OEM European lights with no amber manufactured by BMW for their european models? BMW does have OEM lights without the amber - something like $250 through Pacific BMW or www.bekkers.com. Standard issue for the e36 in europe. Available in the US - but at a hefty price as you can see. Do you have the 11 button OBC in your m3 with the check control?

As for the comments regarding water blades, chamois, and duster. It appears as if according to www.autopia.com (the PREMIER car care website) a chamois can collect dirt and scartch the paint, while the water blade and duster does NOT scratch the paint. However, at the dealership where I work, we all have chamois to dry the cars (I work in a crappy dealership without the treated water!!!). The best way to dry your car would be to use microfiber towels.

Stupenal is right. Microfiber towels are the best! What I've learned is that everything will scratch the paint. If all the dirt isn't washed away, a chamois or water blade will just drag it across the surface. Towels will pick up the dirt into their fibers, so you hae to be careful. I've found the best way to quickly clean a dusty car is a Meguiar's ultimate wipe and Quik Detailer spray (or Final Inspection or Final Detail). With these you don't need water - just mist it on and wipe off, changing sides of the towel often. The spray is also good for claying the car.

Hey supertack. Still waiting for those pictures man. Get yourself a dig camera like you said you had to so we can see how those clear corners that you have look like.
Personally I am waiting for that to make or not a decision since I have the regular clear corner lights but my car is metallic silver so I think it would look good on it.

Cop, sorry no digital camera yet. After I spent the cash on my intake, heat shield, shifter, & corners the well is kinda dry for the time being. I can tell you this though, those corners are the best looking product out there if you’re moving away from stock amber. I have a buddy with a 325 modded up the ass with nitrous & all kinds of crazy stuff. He has the chiseled white corners, & after he saw mine, he decided to switch to those. It was funny, his first question when he saw mine was, "has it rained yet?". I guess a lotta times these after market corners aren’t fully resistant to moister. When I looked at his white corners, sure enough there was condensation inside the lens. But I've washed my car half a dozen times, & it's rained plenty, and they’re still dry as an old mans scalp.
