repalcing spark plug end
hey guys, how do i replace my spark plug connector? the one that connectors the the plug. does it just screw off?

Why do you want to replace just the end? I'd say just replace the whole set..
It should just pull off, but you have to make sure that the contacts match up inside. |

pull off? thought it would screw off? i am talking about the part that connects to it. reason im not doing the whole set is because this is the only bad connector.

Whats wrong with the connector? Did you check resistance in the line?

it doesnt want to stay on, and its cuasing my spark plug to come out. it doesnt click when its pushed on like the other ones.

Look on the inside of the connector and check that the clip is still there. Sometime you can fix it with a pair of needlenose pliers..

also the spark plug keeps coming out, would a brand new one fix this? the inside of the connector isnt clean and shiny like the other ones, its dark and beat up looking.

How are the threads on the head that hold the plug in.. Thats what I would be more worried about.. If the threads are stripped, you'll have to have the head heli-coiled.

it hasnt done this until abouit a month ago, can it just strip for no reason? coups the plug be bad?
