Question re-setting radio code

Hi,

I would like to know how to reset the BMW radio. I have the code but right now it just states "code - WAIT" it does not allow any numerical entries. I disconnected the power for 1 hour to see if it would reset but it didn't, then I disconnect for 24 hours and nothing happened. Is there a reset switch somewhere on the BMW radios?
I appreciate any help. Thank you

Not sure about the error. Disconnect power for 1/2 hour if that makes any difference.

I will need to reset the radio code on mine. How can I find out what the code is? Will the dealership have it, or will I have to call BMW?
Thanks.

Remove radio & there is a serial number on the back of the radio....U might be able to call a dealer but most want you to come in & show proof you own the car--->and they usually charge an hour
