Question Signaling light problem

1991 325I, 112,000K

Occaisionally, one of my signaling light will flash rapidly and then return to normal? What could be the cause of this?

Could be a faulty socket. Scrub the inside of the socket with something abrasive (wire brush) trying not to damage anything. Usually if the bulb is good and it's doing this there is a fault somewhere on the line or the socket is not connecting with the bulb. If you can rule out a faulty (dirty, corrosive) socket and the bulb, the problem is probably a faulty wire. Good Luck!
