radio code
'99 323is, I left the trunk open in the garage, dummy me, the battery went dead, what a surprise!!!! When I tried to enter radio code the radio says CODE WAIT, I have disconnected the battery for 5 minutes, left the key in the #1 position for one hour, pulled the radio fuses, nothing works. How do I get the CODE WAIT out so I can enter the correct radio code?

only way is to leave key on with radio saying code wait for one hour then enter code

If you had a 99 323i that wouldn't have happened. LOL
So assuming you did leave it in #1 for and hour then I suppose BMWCowboy is saying you need to leave it in #2. #0-off #1-acc #2-on #3-starter

Right - hook up a battery charger to the battery and then leave it with the accessory position on (radio says CODE WAIT). It should work then...
