Turn Signal Not working - 92' 325i E30 M20

hello, I recently had problem with timing and overheating due to a 20 mph head on crash. everything is fixed now with the help of Yurick. I've got one more problem other than fixing my steering air bag. The signal lights are not working. It doesn't work at the dash or at the bulb and the fuse is OK. And the emergency Hazard flasher doesn't work. I think what ever is causing this controls both.

Could be be the Hazard Flasher Relay? And does this control both?

Can someone guide me through this task?

Best Regards
Scoot

I knew this would be a difficult question to answer but I thought I would ask anyway.

Best Regards

My guess would be a relay.

Also, your model may be equipped with a mechanism that turns on the hazards in the event of a crash. That mechanism may be causing the problem.

crash control module or crash control relay might be the correct name

but it could just be the flasher relay

thanks for the reply Jeron,

Is the flasher relay located under the steering wheel? I have the wiring diagram but it doesn't pin point exactly where it is and what it looks like. I've also been told it could be the flasher switch??

thanks

The relays are under the hood by the brake booster, under the steering wheel and behind the glove box. The Bentley manual should tell you where each one is.
