yet another atf question
like the title says, its another thread on weather to change the atf fluid or leave it alone in a high mileage car. yes i have read all threads about it and are still not shure what to do. the car is a 96 328i with 150k miles on it with the origional fluid, i checked the fluid and its almost a brown color. the car is shifting a little hard out of 1st and into second and a little from second and into third. i do not have the money to replace the tranny if it goes because of this. i have the lucas fluid addiditave but idk if i shoudl put it in or what not. please adive

Don't put any additives in it.
I suppose I would be concerned about dropping the pan but if it has a drain plug then draining and filling would not bother me as much. Start saving your money for a new tranny.
