Error code "Evaporative control purge valve"
Hello,
I keep getting error 24 on my '93 325i which says it is the "evaporative purge control valve" according to the Peak manual. Can anyone tell me if this is commonly referred to by a different name? Also, can you get this error if you have a vacuum leak? What hoses are reccomended to change (or look for leaks) if you are getting this error and the idle is not that smooth? Todd |

That valve controls gas vapors in the tank so they don't end up in the atmosphere.
My guess is the valve is in the trunk near the charcoal canister but I cant say for sure.
